All it takes are a few well made pieces to reignite the idea that sometimes less is more in when it comes to shopping. Case in point, this Charlie Middleton bucket bag – I just can’t stop wearing it! You have seen it here, here, and here. Even when I’m not blogging, it sits by my doorway where I grab it pretty much ever single day as I’m about to leave. It may one of the most used bags I’ve ever owned.

Aside from being stylish and on trend, the bag is simple enough to be timeless and because it’s hand made in Sidney we can call it “fair” and high quality. There isn’t much more I could want from a purse.

I am also proud to say that this top is from tailor made brand, Lunnapadar, which you can read about here (it is hard to believe I wrote that article one year ago). All the brand’s items are handmade to order at their workshop, making this outfit pretty ethical to me.

I still have a long way to go in the transition to totally conscious consumption, but little changes can go a long way when dealing with something this substantial. We can’t be too hard on ourselves and baby steps are better than nothing, right? Have any tips for me or brands you think I should know about? Please let me know in the comments!
