Toronto Fashion Week had me feeling overwhelmed (in a good way) with all the amazing designers we have here in the city.  This season was extra cool because TFW and RE\SET came together to show on the same days in the same space. This means more shows from more of our wonderful fashion friends. To top if off, you could shop all the RE\SET designers right then and there in the Yorkville Village pop-up shop.

In addition to seeing all the new collections, I love fashion week because it’s a chance for me to put together outfits featuring my favourite Canadian designers. I know I’ve been doing that a lot lately with the #ShopLocal series, but I find that I get to wear and discover local designers during fashion week that I have never had the chance to share with you before.

Instead of attending all three days, I only attended two this season. I had been sick for a couple of weeks, had a lot of work on my plate, as well as upcoming travel, so thought it would be best to take it easy. Regardless, I have two seriously epic outfits to share with you!

For the first day of TFW, I wore an all black and white look inspired by my current TV hero, Moira Rose, from Schitt’s Creek. If you haven’t seen the show yet, I highly recommend you do. It’s hilarious! This outfit was put together with the help of my friend, Mason, from Unique Stylings. I loved the print and oversized collar of this shirt by Brit Wacher when layered with the dreamy faux fur by Furious Furs. I topped off the look with a wool hat by Camille Cote and this fashion week look à la Moira Rose was complete.

On day two I wore these super cool leather culottes by Malika Rajani, alongside this mesh shirt by Brit Wacher. I’m obsessed with the extra long sleeves! I toned down the badass of the mesh with a black striped and lace bomber by Grayes. I completed the look with some Cartel Footwear python print booties.
