My second Toronto Women’s Fashion Week has come and gone and round two was just as fun as the first. One of my favourite aspects of fashion week is celebrating the local talent that we have here in Toronto. Leading up to this TWFW, I reached out to a few Canadian designers that I had discovered during the previous season to ask about wearing their designs. I was very excited when they said yes! I also discovered several new and wonderfully talented individuals that I will be sure to reach out to for next season, so stay tuned!

Here are the three outfits I wore during Toronto Women’s Fashion Week SS18.

BORO IT

Although technically not a designer, BORO is this amazing new service in Toronto that allows you to borrow clothing for periods of four or ten days. They deliver the garment, pick it up at the end and cleaning is included in the price. To top it off, their prices are totally reasonable. This BALMAIN X H&M jacket is only $48 to “boro” and you don’t even have to leave your apartment. It’s especially perfect if you have a tiny apartment that doesn’t have space to store lots of clothing.

Joseph Tassoni

You may remember Joseph from the amazing pink and baby blue vest I wore to The Juno Awards. Not only are his designs beautiful, but he’s the sweetest man too. Naturally, I was so excited to wear a piece from his collection once again. This season, Joseph created the most stunning all red pieces for the Canada 150 show, so I hope you saw them on my Instagram. Nothing makes me feel more glamorous than wearing Joseph Tassoni!

Hendrixroe

Anything from Hendrixroe is guaranteed to be cool as hell. With all the colourful tweeds, metallics and a badass attitude, this Toronto brand is literally loved bye everyone. It seems like the whole city comes out to watch the show and it’s an epic time every season. Thanks for letting me wear this dreamy tweed and sequin outfit, Jordan!
