Ballet Flats: Flats a la Jolie – Top: Pomelo (similar) – Skirt: Curated by Ek Thongprasert

Tote: Charlie Middleton – Scarf: Vintage – Watch: TW Steel

Although  I can never seem to stop buying heels, when it comes right down to it, the shoes I wear most are flats. Since moving to the centre of the city, I spend most of my time walking, so comfortable shoes are more important than ever. People frequently ask me why I’m limping; it’s because the soles of my flats are so, well… hard and flat that it makes walking really painful!

I recently discovered a brand called Flats A La Jolie, who claimed to make the comfiest ballet flats ever. After having purchased some of the most expensive designer flats in the world, only to find they kill my feet within about 20 minutes, I decided I should give Jolie’s a try.

I met with the adorable Jolie at her office in Sukhumvit where I got to try her flats for real. And well, she wasn’t lying, they’re comfy as hell. Thanks to the cushioned soles, I have been dancing around in them all day!

I chose the blush tone because I felt that it complimented my super untanned skin, but the blue looks very high fashion and the black/nude are perfect for daily wear. There are just too many to choose from!

I’ve attached a little graphic at the end of the post, which talks a bit about how Jolie has made her flats so comfortable.

If you’re free this Wednesday, feel free to pick up one of the last remaining tickets to Business in Heels, where I will be giving my FIRST EVER talk about blogging and social media. We will also be giving away a pair of these great flats!
