I know that white shirts are potentially the most classic item ever, but I still have to point out how much I love them. This chambray shirt from TopShop is particularly awesome; the loose fit is breathable in Bangkok’s heat, but the fabric is still thick enough to keep you warm in the aircon (or my new Canadian surroundings). Although the shirt is pretty casual, the addition of the velvet scarf exudes a little glamour for the win.
In you case you haven’t noticed, or don’t follow me on Instagram (@apoelise) yet, I recently chopped off all my hair. The cut was from Billy at The Lounge in Emquartier who not only did an amazing job, but was super sweet too. The whole “long bob” thing was something that I was thinking about for awhile and I don’t regret it for a second. The look is a great choice if you want something short, but still appreciate the convenience of putting it back in a ponytail. On a plus note, I am also happy to be back in Canada where the super dry air means every day is a good hair day.
I hope you’re all having an OK recovery from Halloween!
