Slightly Obsessed

I’ve never really been into jewelry. Don’t get me wrong, I love to accessorize, but jewelry is typically my last resort for creating that perfect outfit. When it comes to statement accessories, I tend to draw the line at bags and sunglasses. It’s is actually rather boring. I need to loosen up.

Here’s why I am the way I am. Rings are uncomfortable and when my hands sweat it gets even weirder. Necklaces are great if they’re dainty, when they’re big I feel strangled. Bracelets are perfect on the hand I don’t write with and they definitely can’t jingle. These are my jewelry rules.
For a so-called fashion lover like myself, these self inflicted regulations are all kinds of wrong. Comfort is key to an extent, but who cares if your wrist makes a little sound? Won’t it only draw attention to that beautiful set of bangles? Isn’t that the point?

This brings us to the core of the issue at hand.

What Uniform?

I love Sunday. Not because I can sleep in, be lazy and do nothing; although that is amazing. I love Sunday because it’s the one day out of the week when I can wear what-e-v-e-r the hell I want.

Day and Night

There’s nothing like the marketing of municipal governments to make you roll your eyes. The city where I grew up was coined “The Energetic City” yet the fast food drive through windows had longer lines than anywhere else I’ve ever been (Fort St. John, I love you anyways).

In Bangkok, the BTS has dubbed it “The City of Life”. Given that whatever the skytrain system says is always a fact, this must be true and in my opinion, it is. Now I’m not sure what Bangkok is referred to in Thai, aside from “Maha Nakhon”, but it is most definitely full of life. At times it is overwhelming. Imagine Kid Cudi rapping “Day N’ Night” in his drool worthy voice; this city is alive day and night.
